New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is seeking a consultant to provide Consulting Engineer and Related Services for Broadway Junction Streetscape Improvements Projects. The project will consist of two streetscapes; (1) Van Sinderen Avenue between Atlantic Avenue and Fulton Street, and (2) Broadway between Jamaica Avenue and Truxton Street. This streetscape design will be advanced by the consultant to a schematic level (30 percent design), and will be issued as part of a public design-build procurement, for which the consultant will also provide resident engineer services. NYCEDC plans to select a consultant on the basis of factors stated in the RFP which include, but are not limited to: the quality of the proposal, experience of key staff identified in the proposal, experience and quality of any subcontractors proposed, demonstrated successful experience in performing services similar to those encompassed in the RFP, and the consultant's ability to meet disadvantaged business enterprise participation goals pursuant to federal requirements.
