Clairemont Elementary Roofing Repair/Replacement Services PURPOSE/DESCRIPTION The City Schools of Decatur ("CSD"), the owner, is soliciting sealed proposals from firms experienced in Roofing Repairs and Replacements for services needed at Clairemont Elementary School. It is the desire of CSD to engage the services of organizations with experience in repairing and replacing roofs to develop a specific plan of action to achieve the necessary improvements while minimizing the impact to the operating facilities. Limited information about specific services will be known at the time of issuance of this RFP. Therefore, CSD will be relying on the selected Roofing Firm(s) to assess data provided and existing conditions to develop their specific services and costs. Those submitting a response to this RFP will be requested to provide a unit rate schedule that covers future repairs for review and consideration as well. This RFP outlines how the selection process will be managed, CSD's requirements, CSD's evaluation of the proposal packages and their Contract requirements. After you have reviewed the RFP information, you are invited to submit your offeror's submission as a Roofing Repair/Replacement firm or Team to the City Schools of Decatur. Technical Summary: This roofing repair/replacement project will involve preparing roofing and adjoining wall substrates to receive roofing and wall repairs expected to create a watertight roofing condition. Any questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing no later than noon, E.S.T. Questions received after noon on Friday, December 6, 2024, will not receive a response. The written requirements contained in this RFP shall not be changed or superseded except by written addendum from the City Schools of Decatur. CSD reserves the right to reject any and all proposals deemed to be non-responsive and also reserves the right to reject any and all qualifications, to waive any technicalities, informalities or irregularities and to ultimately award a contract to the firm that is deemed to have presented the best and most advantageous proposal for the School District, resulting from an evaluation process using criteria set forth in Section III of this RFP. REJECTION OF SUBMISSIONS CSD may reject any and all submission packages submitted and reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in any submission packages submitted or in the submissions procedure.
