Renovation of a municipal facility in Louisville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
L & N Building Exterior Upgrade, Finance - Facilities and Support Services, 908 West Broadway, Louisville, Kentucky. L&N Building Facade Repair includes repointing, repair and reconstruction of Brick Masonry and replacement of selective steel shelf angles. Limestone Masonry work includes repointing, crack and spall repairs. Terracotta coating and crack repair. Installation of additional roof anchorage points for equipment. Add alternates include copper coping cap and supporting sub-structure replacement, along with facade cleaning. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee (in the form of a bid bond or certified check) of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the lump sum base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and a separate 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instructions to Bidders and/or General Conditions. Bonds should be executed by a surety company authorized to do business by the Kentucky Secretary of State and the Kentucky Department of Insurance within the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, Commonwealth of Kentucky, reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Commonwealth may be served.
