Reference number: 20031935 Deadline for receipt of complaints; 2024-12-05 The purpose of the work is to make the necessary structural and masonry corrections to the corner of the staircase wall in the Rockefeller Wing of the Montreal Neurological Institute, for safety purposes. The Rockefeller Wing was built in 1934 and is located on University Street in Montreal. The work had to be carried out near 2 major accesses to the building, which had to remain functional. They are located above a pedestrian bridge linking the building to the Royal Victoria Hospital on the other side of University Street, in a busy area. The work involves structural reinforcement of the masonry in the corner of the building between floors 5 and 10, as well as targeted restoration of the masonry in this section. Completion is scheduled for winter 2025. * Award is subject to final approval.
