Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Helena, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and road / highway.

The project generally consists of site excavation and grading, installing two culverts, constructing a stream channel with drop structures and a pedestrian trail, installing guardrail, revegetating the site by seeding and containerized plantings, and installing an impermeable HDPE floodplain liner. Project work will begin in late winter and conclude in spring of 2025. Each bid or proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond payable to Lewis and Clark County, in an amount not less than ten percent of the total amount of the bid. Successful Bidders shall furnish an approved Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. Insurance, as required, shall be provided by the successful Bidder(s) and a certificate(s) of that insurance shall be provided. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid that is in the best interest of the Owner. Lewis and Clark County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities or to accept any bid deemed to be for the public good. Question Deadline 12/09/2024
