The Town of Mount Pleasant (Town) is requesting best value Bids from interested and qualified bidders to provide and install three (3) Electro-Mech Multi-Sport Scoreboards, brand name or equal, for Joe Gawrych Baseball Complex in accordance with the requirements and specifications of the Bid documents. Question Deadline 12/06/2024 at 12:00 PM ET Bidder shall provide and install scoreboards (Brand name stated in solicitation or Equal), including the delivery and taxes for the Joe Gawrych Baseball Complex, 1559 Rifle Range Road, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 in accordance with the requirements and specifications of the Bid Documents. Bidder isresponsible to obtain detailed specifications of Brand-named equipment or Equal substitutions and include in their bid. The Town will then determine whether equipment offered as "Equal" meets the stated specifications of Brand-named equipment. All work must be completed within 30 days of receipt of the scoreboards. Equipment: 1. Three (3) Electro-Mech LX1360, Multi-sport scoreboard, 10' x 5'. 2. Three (3) ID Panel, 2FT Tall, EXT. 3. Three (3) SL-400 Wireless System. 4. Three (3) Carrying Case, Console. Town is requesting a wireless board that is not controlled by a separate control panel. The controls are to run through an app and cell phone. The Town also requires that the successful Bidder provide ongoing technical support for the scoreboards. It is the intent of the specifications to describe the minimum requirements for the scoreboard. All materials and equipment shall be new and of proper strength and construction and in keeping with a design incorporating these specifications. The right is reserved to reject all bids proposing inadequate equipment, which is considered unsatisfactory by the Town for use in the proposed application. Specification adherence will be a factor in evaluation and award.
