Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and road / highway.

Bids must be submitted on the appropriate bid forms provided and shall include a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%). Bidders must also be registered with the Iowa Division of Labor. This project is for a traditional breakpoint nutrient reduction wetland. In general, the work involves, but is not limited to, selective clearing, excavation, grading, steel sheet pile weir construction, tile installation, water control structures and seeding. This project includes around 6,200 cubic yards of earthwork, 1,086 square feet of steel sheet pile, 1,100 linear feet of plastic tile installation, 84 feet of 15-inch diameter RCP, 550 tons of riprap, 700 square yards of geotextile fabric, 120 cubic yards of concrete grout, 4.3 acres of seeding, water control structure with riser and 500 feet of silt fence. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance/Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
