Greene County Government is seeking bid(s) for partial roof replacements at the Greene County Detention Center on at the Sally Port, East and West Administrative & Commissary offices and the Catwalk. Specifications and quantities will follow. Names, trade names, model numbers, catalog numbers or other descriptions peculiar to any item is made to establish a required level of quality and functional capabilities and is for reference only; it is not intended to exclude other products of that level. Please include with any bid, any and all specifications, brochures, catalogs, samples, etc. or other data as well provide an adequate basis of determining the quality and functional capabilities for the product offered. The successful bidder will furnish a Performance Bond made payable to Greene County Trustee in the form of a bond, certified check, cash or bank draft of equal amount to the bid if under $10,000. In the event that the successful bid is over $10,000, the amount of the bond shall be $10,000 plus 50% of the amount by which the contract price exceeds $10,000. This bond, in part or all, is to be forfeited to the County in the event that the terms of the Contract are not met in total by the successful bidder. Sally Port is approximately 700 sq ft of roof area and approximately 400 sq ft of vertical wall area. Removal and disposal of ballast off site. Removal and disposal of EPDM membrane and underlying insulation exposing original EPDM roof system. Mechanically attach 1.5" Polystyrene insulation cover board over original EPDM membrane. Mechanically attach single ply PVC roofing membrane per manufacturer's recommendations. Extend membrane up and over parapet walls terminating at outside perimeter with 4" fascia bar and metal cover. Flash walls, pipes, curbs and other penetrations or factory specifications. Clean up and remove project related debris. Catwalk, east and west area is approximately 700 sq ft of roof area and approximately 300 sq ft of vertical wall area. Catwalk: Removal and disposal of ballast off site. Removal and disposal of the (2) EPDM membranes exposing the concrete deck on the catwalk. Mechanically attach 1/2 " Expanded Polystyrene insulation cover board over concrete deck. Mechanically attach single ply PVC roofing membrane per manufacturer's recommendations. Terminate edge detail with 4" fascia bar and metal cover. Flash walls, pipes, curbs and other penetrations to factory specifications. Clean up and remove project related debris. East and West Roofs over Administrative & Commissary offices: Removal and disposal of ballast off site. Removal and disposal of EPDM membrane exposing Expanded Polystyrene insulation. Mechanically attach 1/2 " Expanded Polystyrene insulation over existing EPS. Mechanically attach single ply OVC roofing membrane per manufacturer's recommendations. Extend membrane up and over parapet walls on East Roof terminating at outside perimeter with 4" fascia bar and metal cover. Extend membrane up parapet walls terminating at bottom cap block on West roof. Flash walls, pipes, curbs and other penetrations to factory specifications. Clean up and remove project related debris. Include your pricing and warranties, contractor(installer) and manufacturer. Payment will be remitted after completion of work and satisfactory inspection by buyer. Days to complete job (must complete no later than June 30, 2025)
