The City of Owensboro is seeking reputable contractor(s) to demolish structures on various properties. The successful bidder shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals required to demolish, remove, and dispose of all structures and debris from these properties in accordance with applicable local, state, and Federal requirements. The City of Owensboro reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities in said bids. SCOPE: The City of Owensboro is seeking reputable contractor(s) to demolish structures on various properties. The successful bidder(s) shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals required to demolish, remove, and dispose of all structures and debris from these properties in accordance with applicable local, state, and Federal requirements. This shall include, but not be limited to removal of the building structure(s), all applicable concrete, foundations, basements, in-ground pools and associated plumbing, piping, mechanical and electrical components, surrounding deck and concrete slabs, abandoned utilities, house walk pavements, garages or sheds, and backfilling, etc. In addition to backfilling, pricing should also include proper compaction of the structure footprint according to the specifications contained within this bid. Driveway apron and public sidewalks shall be protected and remain undisturbed. This bid is separated into multiple locations. It is the intent of this bid to award each item based on price. Contractors may bid on one or more locations. One or more of the structures may be removed from the proceedings at the City's discretion No formal job site visits will be made at the conclusion of the meeting; however, each bidder is encouraged to visit each job site.
