The Project site is located at 180 S King Street, Jackson, WY 83001 The existing Teton County Courthouse will be demolished, and a new, Teton County Justice Center will be built at the same location. After the new Justice Center is complete, the existing detention center will be demolished, and a parking lot will be constructed in its place. Teton County has selected Wember, partnered with Berning Project Management (BPM), as the Owner's Representative, and Anderson Mason Dale Architects, partnered with CLB Architects as the Architect. The project is in the Schematic Design phase, and Teton County's goal is to bring on a General Contractor (CM@R) to provide cost estimating and constructability review throughout the design process. The Teton County Justice Center is projected to be approximately 78,000 to 83,000 sf. It will involve the demolition of the existing Teton County Courthouse and the construction of a new facility that will also include three courtrooms, a Detention Center, a Sheriff's Office, a Dispatch Center, and the County Attorney offices, along with other Courthouse-related functions. The "Hard Cost" or construction budget for the project is approximately $75,000,000-$80,000,000, and includes demolition, construction, general conditions, and overhead & profit.
