These widening projects include the widening of 2 bridges, the installation/relocation of multiple ancillary structures, and the replacement of 6 bridges. Interchange (On/Off Ramp) modifications occur at Southern Boulevard, Jog Road, and Okeechobee Boulevard. For projects in excess of $50 million, in addition to meeting all other qualification requirements of Section 337.14, Florida Statutes, and Rule Chapter 14-22, Florida Administrative Code, any Contractor who is not prequalified and in good standing with the Department as of January 1, 2019, must submit evidence which demonstrates satisfactory completion of at least two projects, each in excess of $15 million, for the Florida Department of Transportation or for any other state department of transportation.
