Eastern Kentucky University is seeking bids for our campus wide sprinkler cage installation project. This invitation is for the installation of cages and signage over sprinkler heads in various residence halls as specified in the following bid at Eastern Kentucky University's Richmond, KY Campus. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and services necessary to complete the project outlined in the event and attachments including all items indicated throughout the event. Project involves the installation of 1/2 " wire with latch hooks protective caging (2.5X2.75X3") around all sprinkler heads to amount to approximately 13,500 total sprinkler heads in residence halls.. Additionally, the project requires the installation of 3" radius circular warning signs adjacent to one sprinkler head in each residence hall room. The warning signs must clearly read that hanging of items on sprinkler heads is prohibited. Engineers Estimate: $197,000.00 Substantial Date for Completion: 30 days from stated start date on purchase order Final Date for Completion: 40 days from stated start date on purchase order.
