Western University is inviting Proponents to submit bids to provide construction services for the Field Turf Replacement project for the Alumni Field and Mustang Field. 1. Furnish all labour, materials, tools and equipment necessary to deconstruct and remove existing synthetic turf and infill material as directed by the Consultant/Owner. The synthetic turf to be recycled is manufactured with polyethylene. The infill to be recycled consists of Cryogenically Processed SBR rubber crumb and sand. 2 The contractor shall: 1 Remove existing artificial turf system including infill materials (existing shock pad and e-layer to remain) 2 Repair to existing e-layer 3 Dispose of existing system .5 Keep the site clean from debris, surplus material, etc. throughout the removal process 6 Perform full site clean-up at completion of work Submit Bid Bond in accordance with CCDC Form 220, with Bid for 10% of the Bid Price. Bid Bond to be valid for Bid acceptance period.
