Site work for a water / sewer project in Oxford, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Work under this section consists of furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment required for the installation of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) in storm drains cured by ultraviolet (UV) light. Bid envelope must contain on the outside of the envelope, the Contractor's current Certificate of Responsibility Number and the Contractor's License Number unless a statement on the exterior says the bid enclosed is less than or does not exceed $50,000.00. Project Name: Yocona Ridge Storm Drain Project Lining of Storm Drain Yocona Ridge Subdivision, Oxford, MS 38655 SCOPE A. Work under this section consists of furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment required for the installation of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) in storm drains cured by ultraviolet (UV) light. 1.2 DESIGN AND PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS A. The CIPP shall be designed for a life of 75 years or greater in accordance with ASTM F1216, Appendix X.1, for "fully deteriorated gravity pipe conditions." The Bid Form and/or Drawings may list alternate minimum required thicknesses for installation based on the Engineer's decision for specific installations and may list specific thicknesses for larger diameter storm drains. Each CIPP shall be designed to withstand internal and/or external loads as dictated by the site and pipe conditions. Unless listed by the Engineer on the Bid Form and/or Drawings, the required installed thickness of the CIPP shall be derived using the standard engineering methodology as found in ASTM F1216, Appendix X1. In no case shall the installed thickness be less than 3 mm. The thickness calculations shall be submitted to the Engineer prior to CIPP installation. The designs shall include a step-by-step calculation that shows all equations, defines all variables, lists all assumptions, and clearly indicates all values used for the design. B. The layers of the finished CIPP shall be uniformly bonded. It shall not be possible to separate any two layers with a probe or point of a knife blade so that the layers separate cleanly or such that the knife blade moves freely between the layers. If separation of the layers occurs during testing of the field samples, new samples will be cut from the work. Any reoccurrence may be cause for rejection of the work. C. The structural CIPP wall thickness design for this Project is being based on the design criteria listed below, which reflects typical physical properties of Saertex Liner by Saertex Multicom. The wall thickness calculations are also in accordance with ASTM F2019-20 and the design equations in Appendix X1 of ASTM F1216. The minimum wall thicknesses presented herein for the various depths are based on Saertex and shall be considered the minimum wall thicknesses for each depth category.
