The proposed work includes the following major items: Remove old light poles Grading and cleanup behind Building Tree Trimming Install Underground Storm Water System, complete Concrete repairs Restore with Pea Gravel with fabric & Grass Each proposal bid must be accompanied by a bid bond made payable to the MONROE TOWNSHIP BOARD OF EDUCATION equal to 10-percent of the Bid Amount or $20,000, the lesser of the two. All blank spaces in the proposal, except as otherwise noted, must be filled in; and no change shall be made in the phraseology of the proposals or of the item mentioned. All information that may be requested of the bidder in these specifications shall be included with this proposal. All erasures, interpolations, or other physical changes on the bid form shall be initialed / signed by the bidder. The successful bidder will be required to furnish, within ten (10) days after the award, a Surety Corporation Performance Bond or Letter of Credit equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. All applicable surety bonds or LOC required must be written by a surety company listed on the Federal Treasury List (Department Circular 570-Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds) and such surety company must be acceptable to the MONROE TOWNSHIP BOARD OF EDUCATION BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR AND SOLICITOR and authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Prospective bidder is not required to provide a Surety Corporation Performance Bond if the Contract Price is less than $100,000.00 Contract duration shall be thirty (30) Calendar Days, starting after Notice to Proceed. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the dates set for the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-22 or to waive minor informalities, defects, and non-material exceptions. Bidders are required to comply with the provisions of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1 et seq. Document Note: or other courier, for an additional $25.00 to cover shipping and handling.
