SCOPE OF WORK INCLUDES all materials, labor, equipment and services to produce or be incorporated in such construction. Contract will be a general contract for the replacement of an existing modified bituminous roof at the Collin County 900 Juvenile Detention Center located at 4300 Community Ave., McKinney, Texas 75071. Payment for the contract work shall be made pursuant to the terms of the Contract Documents. BID SECURITY: All Bidders must submit, prior to the bid opening time, a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or acceptable Bid Bond payable without recourse to Collin County in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid plus alternates as submitted. Contractor must furnish a performance bond, payment bond and one (1) year maintenance bond within ten (10) consecutive calendar days following award of contract. The bonds shall be issued by a corporate surety in accordance with all Texas Law, including but not limited to, Chapter 2253 of the Texas Government Code and Chapter 3503 of the Texas Insurance Code, for public works projects. The opinion of probable construction cost for this contract is $350,000 to $400,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
