Notice is hereby given that the Town of South Windsor, Connecticut shall accept sealed proposals for the following: "Camera Inspections of Storm Drains" Scope of Work - Base Items Provide the Town of South Windsor with camera inspection services of their storm water drainage systems around the Town. The Town will target areas of concern and direct the contractor as needed. Provide reports to the Town using an in-house coding system or NASSCO Pipe Condition Assessment rating system. The detail found in NASSCO rating system may be above and beyond the information needed by the Town. Reporting must accurately include at a minimum, the type of system components (material and size of pipe), condition, explanation of any defects found, and the location of the inspection and defects found. Reports should be provided to the Town in a timely fashion, within one week of the work being performed whenever possible. Copies of all video footage shall be provided to the Town. All video footage, images, and reports shall be provided in a "drop box" format or similar due to file sizes. in the event that any hazardous conditions are found, including but not limited to, structurally deficient catch basin walls or other components and collapsed or clogged pipes, the contractor must notify the Town immediately. All system components shall be returned to the location and condition they were found. ln the event that a component is compromised it shall be brought to the Town's attention. For example, a broken catch basin grate, or improper manhole cover. The Town will provide available drawings as needed. In the event a drawing is not available, GIS mapping will be utilized. Traffic control assistance will be provided by the Town when deemed necessary. NO traffic control will be provided on side streets or low volume traffic areas. Proper road work signage must be utilized at all times, in accordance with the MUTCD Standards. The Town of South Windsor reserves the rights to amend or terminate this Request for Proposal, accept all or any part of the Request for Proposal, reject all Proposals, waive any informalities or non-material deficiencies in the Proposal, and award the Proposal to the lowest responsible proposer. This contract wiil be effective for two calendar years, starting on the date that the contract is awarded. if mutually agreed upon by both entities, the contract may be extended for an additional two years with future terms to be negotiated. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, if deemed in the best interest of the Town. The Town of South Windsor reserves the right to cancel this contract at any time due to poor or non--performance of contractor's duty to fulfill the terms of this contract along with non-- compliance of State and Federal regulations, or if it is in the best interest of the Town of South Windsor.
