The State of Nevada Purchasing Division, on behalf of The Department of Child and Family Services is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide exterior painting for three buildings at the Enterprise Campus located at 2655 Enterprise Road, Reno, NV 89512 and related services as described in the scope of work and attachments. Deadline for Questions 5:00 pm on 12/03/2024, Answers Posted 12/10/2024 SCOPE OF WORK 1.1. Paint-seal-caulk exterior of three buildings located at 2655 Enterprise Road, Reno, Nevada 89512. 1.2. Vendor's response must include a statement acknowledging that they can complete the requirements and expectations of the items in this section, Scope of Work. 1.3. Vendor will provide labor and all necessary supplies required to perform job. 1.4. Requirements: 1.4.1. Minimum two coats of paint to be applied. 1.4.2. Painting the concrete soffits (around doors), metal flashing, main doors, and windows. 1.4.3. All surfaces will be pressure washed & scrapped to remove dirt, chalk, flaking, and debris. 1.4.4. Prepare surface by scraping all loose or chipping paint down to a well adhered surface. 1.4.5. Prime all bare wood and cracking paint with a resin primer/wood stabilizer or oil primer (dependent on surface). 1.4.6. Caulk where existing caulk has been applied. 1.4.7. Mask/protect with tarp or plastic all surfaces not being painted including but not limited to: A. Windows B. Doors C. Decorations D. Driveway E. Landscape F. Roof G. Flooring H. Plumbing I. Electrical and other objects not to be painted. 1.4.8. All surfaces will be back brushed and back rolled as required, to ensure proper adhesion. 1.4.9. Apply two coats of water-based natural look sealers to the brick. 1.4.10. Apply two coats of Sherwin-Williams super paint to the windows. 1.4.11. Apply two coats of Sherwin-Williams normal paint to metal flashing. 1.4.12. Apply two coats of Sherwin-Williams multi surface acrylic super paint to the doors. 1.4.13. After completion of painting, all masking and painting debris will be removed and disposed of properly. 1.4.14. Clean, recycle, and dispose of all extra material and waste properly.
