The City of Duluth requests bids for water treatment chemicals for 2025 as identified in the Item Listings below. Quantities listed are estimates. All chemicals must meet the attached specifications. Delivery charges must be included in the price and the price must be held firm January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025. Awarded bidder(s) will be required to provide current safety data sheets. All 2025 chemical purchases will be held pending City Council approval of the annual budget and a 30-day waiting period as required by ordinance. Purchase orders may not be issued until January 2025. Deliver to: Lakewood Water Treatment Plant, 8130 Congdon Blvd., Duluth, MN 55804. Contact at the Plant is Steve Pitkanen, Water Plant Supervisor (218) 730-4160 (office) or (952) 797-6769 (cell). Freight terms: FOB destination, freight prepaid. Do not include sales tax in the unit price. A Minnesota Revenue Certificate of Exemption will be provided upon request. The City of Duluth reserves the right to reject any or all bids, split the award or waive informalities, irregularities or minor deviations from the specifications, if deemed to be in the best interests of the City. Price may not be the only consideration for bid award. Bids must be firm for a minimum of 60 days. Note: Bid rigging is a serious crime.
