Project to include supplying 300 l.f. of 8" and 12" PVC pressure pipe, miscellaneous valves, fittings, and appurtenances. All material furnished shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by Glenn Sullivan & Associates, Inc., and on file in the office of the City Clerk, located at City Hall. Each bidder shall accompany his bid with a sworn statement in writing that the Bidder has not directly or indirectly entered into an agreement, express of implied, with any other bidder or the price or amount of such bid or any bids, the limiting of the bids or bidders, the paying to anyone any money for promotion expenses, the parceling or farming out to any bidder or bidders or other persons of any part of the contract or any part of the subject matter of the bid or of the profits thereof. A one (1) year warranty will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. All bids shall remain on file at least forty-eight (48) hours. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours prior to the Bid Opening will be returned. Contract to be awarded to low responsive responsible bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bidding and the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with the Oklahoma Competitive Bidding Act. Conditional bids shall not be accepted. Each sealed envelope containing a BID must be plainly marked on the outside as the Effluent Discharge Piping - Materials Only and the envelope should bear on the outside the BIDDER'S name, address, and license number if applicable, and the name of the project for which the BID is submitted. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the BID must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to the OWNER at 2008 N. Council Rd., Blanchard, Oklahoma, 73010. The CONTRACTOR will fully complete the PROJECT on or before January 31, 2025. Liquidated damages will be $300.00 per calendar day. The Contractor will be required to begin work within 14 calendar days of the date shown on the Notice to Proceed. In the event of a conflict between the plans and specifications, the specifications will govern.
