Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, travel, and incidentals necessary to sample and test the wastewater at Trinidad Safety Roadside Rest Area (SRRA) RV septic system on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis. Contractor agrees to provide wastewater testing at a Recreational Vehicle (RV) septic dumpsite to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), as described herein: Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, travel, and incidentals necessary to sample and test the wastewater at Trinidad Safety Roadside Rest Area (SRRA) RV septic system on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis. The services shall be performed at the septic system located at the Trinidad SRRA on Northbound Highway 101, Post Mile 105.1, in Humboldt County. Question Deadline 12/03/2024 Questions regarding this IFB must be submitted by December 3, 2024. Bidders must submit their questions via e-mail to esmeralda.rojo@dot.ca.gov. Written questions must include: the individual's name, firm name, e-mail address and must reference IFB No. 01A6463. Written responses to all questions will be collectively compiled and posted, as an Addendum, electronically. Caltrans reserves the right to reject all bids for reasonable cause Bids will be read in Agreement numeric order; questions will not be allowed; and information will not be repeated. Initial bid opening results will be posted online by 3:00 p.m. on the day following the bid opening. The Agreement will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder meeting the requirements outlined in the IFB after verification and applicable incentives are applied as stated in Evaluation and Selection. This Agreement will commence on January 1, 2025 (estimate), or upon approval by Caltrans, whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by Caltrans. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by Caltrans Contract Manager. This Agreement shall expire on December 31, 2027 (estimate). The services shall be provided during 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except State holidays. The parties may amend this Agreement as permitted by law.
