Wharton County plans to apply for the 2024-2028 TWDB FIF, FEMA FMA, DRRP and TxDEM BRIC/HMGP Programs. Wharton County is soliciting engineering and grant administration services. Accordingly, these services are being solicited to assist the County in its application and project implementation of a contract, if awarded, from the FIF, DRRP, FMA, BRIC, and/or HMGP grant programs. The County is considering applying for such funding to support activities in the County's jurisdiction. Scope of Work - A sample detailed Scope of Work is enclosed. The Engineering contract will encompass all application and project related Engineering and Grant Administration services to Wharton County under its FIF, DRRP, FMA, BRIC, and HMGP Grant programs for the duration of 2024 - 2028. This document (less this invitation and the instructions) and any required response documents, attachments, and submissions will constitute the bid. Multiple contracts may be awarded as a result of this RFQ. Wharton County reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals or firms that submit SOQs, as per the Texas Professional Services Procurement Act and the Uniform Grant and Contract Management Standards. Section 3 Residents, Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and Labor Surplus Area firms are encouraged to submit proposals.
