The Kohler Pool Spray Pad project entails converting the existing wading pool into a spray pad by filling it with underdrain filter stone topped with 6 inches of concrete. The project includes installing spray pad features, laying new 4-inch concrete around the spray pad, and implementing a new water line and drainage system connected to the existing storm infrastructure. Additionally, it involves installing new fencing, an outdoor foot shower, removing old treatment systems from the existing wading pool mechanical room, and installing the Vortex manifold system, along with a new waterline through the building to this system. Requests for Information (RFI) will only be accepted in written form. RFI's will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. local time on January 2nd, 2025 at the Office of the Engineer to the attention of Branden Riggs via email (BRiggs@CPLteam.com). A pre-bid conference will NOT be held. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified bank check or bid bond from a domestic carrier licensed to do business in the State of New York in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid submitted. Security for Faithful Performance: The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds written by firms licensed to do business in New York State, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amounts in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents.
