Trenchless installation methodology and geotechnical support for a proposed primary water main (PWM) from the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) trending west crossing the Canadian Pacific Railway (CP) Right Of Way (ROW) and rail tracks at 16th Street and the Canadian National Railway (CN) ROW and rail tracks at 18th Street and Circle Drive. The new PMW is planned to accommodate the expanding Willows development; alignment yet to be finalized. TIMELINE: The owner is currently seeking proposals from engineering firms for Geotechnical Design Services. Detailed design and geotechnical report are due by March 7, 2025 in order to satisfy CN and CP crossing permit applications. Construction procurement phase is scheduled for spring 2025; construction to occur in 2025 and 2026. *Budget is unreleased.
