Sealed bids under M.G.L. 149 for the demolition of Shaw Barn located at 17 Shaw Lane, Sutton, MA. The scope of the project is for the demolition of the barn at Shaw farm in Sutton MA. The work should commence as soon as possible or within two months. The contractor shall be responsible for the company performing the work. The scope of work consists of demolishing and removing the entire barn structure and collapsing the foundation around the hole. The site shall be graded to remove any hazard. The contractor shall have Workman's Comp Insurance for all personnel on the project. The contractor shall have Liability insurance of a minimum $1,000,000. coverage listing the Town of Sutton as the beneficiary. The contractor shall have all required State licenses for the project The contractor shall supply all materials required for the project. The contractor shall obtain the Building Permit. Prior to the work the contractor shall submit documents to the owner with a work schedule and a plan of how the work will be conducted. The plan shall contain a schedule from start to completion. The contractor shall supply all materials required for the project. The contractor is responsible for any staging, brush removal and any work to perform the demolition of the barn. The contractor is responsible for all required safety equipment. The contractor shall properly dispose of any debris from the site at an approved disposal facility.
