Arcadia Road Sewer Pump Station Improvements . Questions may be delivered or mailed. Written responses will be posted on the Westwood Town Hall website. The work under this contract includes all labor, materials, and equipment for interior and exterior improvements to the existing Arcadia Road Sewer Pump Station as shown in the Contract Documents. The interior pump station improvements include, but are not necessarily limited to replacing the existing wet well slide gates (Base Bid); sealing the wet well and exterior pump station wall penetration (Base Bid); replacing pump discharge pipe supports (Base Bid); and painting the interior walls of the pump station dry well room within the limits shown on the Drawings (Bid Alternate B). The exterior upgrades include, but are not necessarily limited to replacing the existing wet well access hatch (Base Bid); installing a new concrete landing at the pump station entrance (Base Bid); installing bollards (Base Bid); excavating to locate existing force main piping and valves (Base Bid); installing all required erosion controls (Base Bid); performing all required site restoration to restore the site to pre-construction conditions (Base Bid); and rehabilitating the pump station slate roof within the limits identified in the Contract Documents including replacement cleaning and replacement of slate tiles, snow guard replacement, and flashing sealing (Bid Alternate A - Filed Sub-Bid). Work also includes providing a temporary sewer bypass pumping system for bypassing the pump station during work within the wet well (Base Bid); and furnishing a new spare pump for a separate Town operated sewer pump station (Base Bid).
