Renovation of a municipal facility in Hawthorne, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
1. Remove existing insulation between ceiling joists. 2. Remove and infill existing louvre vents to match existing structure. 3. Maintain existing airflow, or provide means to allow outside airflow with baffles. 4. Provide Closed Cell spray insulation foam to underside of roof deck and exterior walls to create conditioned attic space. 5. Closed Cell Spray foam need to meet NYS code of R-48 values or greater. 6. Spray foam will be covered by a Thermal & Ignition barrier. Using DC-315 or similar coating will be applied. NYSOPWDD will need to approve product prior to coating. 7. Provide 24" wide wooden catwalk throughout attic space, as needed.
