The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 30 days of receiving the Purchase Order. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Site must be cleaned, and all materials secured at the end of each work day. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of the new sidewalk, before removal of equipment, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: o Secure the area for fall hazards and traffic. The site safety is the responsibility of the vendor who wins the bid. o . fixing damages within the drainage system, such as blockages, cracks, or wear and tear. Regular maintenance is crucial to prevent water buildup and protect roadways and properties from water damage. o The vendor is responsible for repairing structural damage; including cracks, breaks, and joint displacements, can compromise the system's integrity. Causes range from natural aging to ground movement and heavy vehicular traffic. o The vendor is required to pitch the pavement so water will flow into the storm drain. The pitch is not to exceed 3 inches across the over 6-foot span. o Vendor will be responsible for the storm greats replacement if they are damaged. o The storm drains will have to carry the weight of heavy equipment, large trucks loaders ect. o The blacktop will match the existing pavement. o Area around the storm drain will be compacted and filed with 5 inches of base coat and 2 inches of topcoat.
