**As of January 22, 2025, project was awarded to K&K Fence, awarded amount is $95,387.75. Lincoln Electric System is requesting bids to furnish and install a security fence at the LES North Bluff Substation as per LES Specifications S-24-31 included in this bid solicitation. The substation is located near 9931 N 56th St, Lincoln, NE. The fence project includes the installation of approximately 2,805 feet of chain link fence and four double swing gates. The fence shall have 7 foot of fabric plus 1 foot of barbed wire and have top and bottom rails. The double swing gates shall fit a 30 foot opening and match the height of the adjacent fence. Fence work shall be completed by January 31, 2025. Successful bidder will be required to complete (1) the LES Standard Construction Contract; 2) furnish proof of insurance with coverage specified in the Contract by an insurance company licensed to do business in Nebraska and rated at least B+ in A.M. Bests Rating. Certificate must show LES listed as additional insured for general liability and include waiver of subrogation; 3) furnish a performance and labor and material payment bond from a surety licensed to do business in Nebraska and also rated at least B+ in A.M. Bests Rating; and 4) Complete the Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Form. The documents upon which all bids are to be based include the Instructions to Bidders, Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond, Contract, General Conditions, Special Conditions, Technical Specifications, Drawings (if any), and all written modifications incorporated in these Documents before their execution, which are collectively referred to as the Contract Documents. Each bid must include the full name and business address of the bidder and be legibly signed by the bidder. A bid by a firm or organization other than a corporation must include the name and address of each member. A bid by a corporation must be signed in the name of such corporation by the president of the corporation or by an officer of the corporation authorized by it to sign the bid. If any officer other than the president signs the bid, a copy of the corporate authority authorizing the officer to sign the bid shall be attached to the bid. LES may, in its sole discretion, reject any or all bids, or waive minor defects, irregularities, or informalities therein. LES will award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid best complies with the Contract Documents. At the option of LES, in order to demonstrate its qualifications to perform the work described herein, each bidder shall be prepared to submit, within five days after the bids are opened, a detailed written showing of financial responsibility, relevant similar experience, present commitments, and such other relevant information as may be required by LES.
