Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work will include but is not limited to various electrical resiliency improvements and upgrades throughout the water treatment plant facility. Improvements to the electrical service and distribution system include demolition of the existing generator building and associated electrical equipment. An elevated concrete platform will be constructed to house the new generator and electrical building for miscellaneous electrical equipment. Individual elevated platforms for additional transformers will be installed throughout the site. Upgrades to the sludge handling process include demolition of the existing sludge handling system and construction of a new sub-surface dual-chambered sludge metering and wet well structure with underground piping. This process will also consist of service connections, site restoration, and related appurtenances. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, supervision, trade skills, materials, and equipment required for this project as described in the Construction Documents. The Contract will allow 450 calendar days for completion of the work from the notice to proceed.
