**As of February 5, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award is on February 17, 2025.** In general, the Project includes removal and replacement of the existing asphalt shingle roof. Work includes, but is not limited to, removal of existing asphalt shingles, underlayment, drip edge, and sheet metal flashings. Plywood deck replacement as needed. Installation of ice and water shield underlayment, synthetic felt underlayment, new drip edge, flashings, shingle starter course, architectural asphalt shingles, ridge vent, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the Project in strict compliance with the Bid Documents (i.e., Base Bid). The Project is to be completed by August 1, 2025; however, construction shall not commence prior to May 1, 2025, without authorization of the Road District. The Road District is also requesting and will consider awarding in lieu of the Base Bid (i.e., architectural asphalt shingles and appurtenances), based on the Road District's best financial interest and availability of funds, Alternate Bids for installation of factory-formed sheet metal roofing panels with exposed fasteners (i.e., Alternate Bid #1) and concealed fasteners with batten caps (i.e., Alternate Bid #2), including flashings, trim, and appurtenances.
