Scope of work shall include obtaining permits for the excavation, removal, cleanout, and destruction of the underground storage tank (UST) listed above. Excavation, removal, cleaning and disposal of an estimated 10,000 to 12,000-gallon UST from the property. Proper removal and disposal of residual fuel/liquid via vacuum tanker truck and transported for treatment/disposal to a properly licensed off-site treatment or recycling facility. Removal and disposal of any unpumpable free product in or outside the UST assolid waste. Removal and disposal of water exhibiting a sheen in the UST cavity as liquid waste, if directed by city representative. Replacing excavated UST volume with virgin CA6 aggregate fill. Following removal of the UST, the Owner's Representative will collect soil samples, with the Contractor's excavator operator assistance, from the base and sidewalls of the excavation and submit the samples for laboratory analyses. Restore tank cavity and sump with imported, graded and compacted CA-6 virgin aggregate and sand removed from the excavation. Top surface with aggregate and proof roll to match parking lot surface. Contractor shall not have to wait for lab results to place backfill and restore site
