Description

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Whitesburg, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 12,500-square-foot educational facility.

The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: renovation of an educational facility. As of December 5, 2024, a construction manager has been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. Trace Creek Construction will be providing a 100% payment and performance bond for the project. No bid bonds or performance bonds will be required of the individual bid package contractors. The Letcher County Alternative Education Lead Paint Abatement project will be bid and constructed utilizing the Construction Management as Constructor form of construction contract delivery. Trace Creek Construction will be the Construction Manager for the project under direct contract with the Letcher County Board of Education. The project consists of the abatement of all loose/flaking lead paint on the ceiling deck of the Letcher County Alternative Education Building. Approximately 12,500 sq ft. The project is planned to start immediately following the bidding process and a contract.
