Site work for a water / sewer project in Gulfport, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Harrison County Board of Supervisors (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Firetower Road Water System Improvements The work included in the Contract shall consist primarily of Construction of the following items: Installation of approximately 5 miles of water distribution line, valves, fire hydrants and connection of approximately 80 new customers. Bids must be submitted upon the standard forms contained within these contract documents furnished by Engineer, noted in the Information for Bidders. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check on a solvent bank or a Bidders Bond issued by a Surety Company licensed to operate in the State of Mississippi, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price, payable to the owner as bid security. Bidders shall also submit a current financial statement, if requested by the Owner. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. All contracts awarded under this Advertisement will be funded in part by anticipated funds from the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) through the Mississippi Municipality and County Water Infrastructure Grant (MCWI) Program. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all MCWI Program regulations and requirements.
