Renovation of a medical facility in Ottawa, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
This Request for Proposal (the "RFP"), issued by Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario - Ottawa Children's Treatment Centre ("CHEO") for CHEO's Facilities Management and Planning (FMP) department, seeks a contractor to perform the specified and illustrated work to the existing heating and chilled water piping systems, ventilation systems, heating and cooling coils, EMCS and electrical systems. The work is primarily in the mechanical penthouse of the CHEO main building (level 7) and includes picking up and installing the Owner pre-ordered pumps, the planning, scheduling and coordination of work to maintain the operation of the health care facility as outlined in the documents. An allowance for the abatement of asbestos containing materials (ACM) is included per chance suspect materials are encountered and as outlined in the project specific designated substance survey by CM3 attached.
