Navajo Tribal Utility Authority (NTUA) is a special purpose government entity, multiutility enterprise of the Navajo Nation which provides electric, water, wastewater, natural gas, photovoltaic, and telecommunication services covering approximately 27,000 square miles across northeastern Arizona, northwestern New Mexico, and Utah. NTUA has seven main district offices located in strategic communities spanning the Navajo Reservation, with its corporate headquarters located in Fort Defiance, Arizona All questions must be submitted in writing to Andrea Hale, Contract Administrator via email at andreah@ntua.com IFB Questions Due December 27, 2024 Type of Service: NTUA is hereby contacting qualified suppliers to provide utility wood poles to replenish warehouse stock and supply inventory for various large community electric and fiber projects. SCOPE: To provide utility wood poles for NTUA warehouse stock replenishment inventory on two-year contract to start March 3, 2025 through March 31, 2027 with an option to renew for a second two year term. Notice to Proceed No later than February 21, 2025 Rejection of Bids: NTUA reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in the bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in the best interests of NTUA. The NTUA reserves the right to reject any bid based on deficient past performance, including projects conducted with NTUA, other Navajo Nation agencies, the federal, state, or local governments, or any commercial project. NTUA reserves the right to select more than one winning bid. As described in Section II – Specifications, the selected bidder(s) who best meet the requirements, including, but not limited to, best value, past performance, timeline to deliver, and price. A successful bidder(s) is expected to perform at a high level to meet NTUA’s contractual requirements.
