The Contractor shall provide, but is not limited to, the following commissioning services: o Air conditioning systems o Plumbing water supply o Plumbing drainage (waste) systems o Firefighting systems o Electrical power and lighting systems including emergency power generators o Fire protection and alarm systems o Voice and data systems o Security access and surveillance systems o Public address systems o Reinforced sound systems o Building management systems. It is anticipated that OCPS will select one or more Contractors for this continuing contract. OCPS reserves the sole right to select the number of the most qualified firms as it deems necessary based on the quantity of expected work. 1. Length of Contract and Renewals: The intent of this Request for Qualification is to establish a contract for an initial period of three (3) years from the date of the award by the OCPS School Board with two (2) additional one-year renewal options at the same prices, terms, conditions, and specifications upon mutual agreement by OCPS and the Contractor. Renewals must be in writing, with the signature of the Contractor's authorized representative and OCPS. 2. Contractor's Experience: 2.1. Preference will be given to the Contractors with documented experience providing Commissioning Services via a Continuing Contract for K-12 public school programs. 2.2. Contractors must be authorized to do business in the State of Florida and must possess professional service registrations, and construction licenses in accordance with applicable statutes, regulations, and rules. 2.3. Contractors must be knowledgeable of Florida Statutes. 2.4. Contractors must be able to demonstrate financial strength appropriate to the scale of the project to be managed. 2.5. In accordance with Florida Statutes, the Contractor will be required to make sworn statements regarding Public Entity Crimes and Contingent Fees. 2.6. Contractors must submit an organizational chart that documents their in-house staff.
