The intent of this Request for Qualification (RFQ) is to seek statements of qualifications (Responses) from parties (the Respondents) interested in the supply, construction and installation of pilot clearwell baffles consisting of reinforced concrete, stainless steel baffle, and geomembrane curtains at the Seymour Capilano Filtration Plant (SCFP). More specifically, the intent of this RFQ is to short-list up to three (3) Respondents to participate in a Tender; however, the Corporation reserves the right to short-list a greater number of Respondents. The work will consist generally of the supply and installation of all materials related to the construction of the Seymour-Capilano Water Filtration Plant Baffle Pilot Project. The key components of the work are generally described as follows (not listed in any particular order): Site Cleaning - all labour and material required to remove the lime grit sediment from the clearwell East Cell. Site Mobilization - supply and installation of scaffolding, lightings and cranes required for the construction. Reinforced Concrete Support Structures - all work related to the supply and installation of concrete baffle wall support structures including wing walls. Geomembrane Curtains - all work related to the supply and installation of geomembrane curtains. Stainless Steel Baffle Walls - all work for supply and install of stainless steel panels. Control and management of any site water leakage physically and chemically, as required. Site restoration and start-up. Submittal of red line drawings, and other close out documents (where deemed necessary).
