To meet our service requirements, OCH will assign four (4) primary Contractors for a defined set of communities (i.e. a group of modules) and two (2) additional Contractors as back-up providers with the ability to service the entire portfolio. OCH responds to approximately 300-500 incidents per year and spends about $8M annually for Emergency Mitigation, Remediation and Recovery/Restoration Services. To increase the number of Contractors available to perform the Restoration Work, OCH intends to issue a separate Prequalification for the Restoration Work. 2.1 Och is Seeking to Obtain Up to Six (6) Qualified Firms to Provide Emergency Mitigation and Remediation Services. All Work is Awarded on an as and When Required Basis. 2.2 Follow-on Restoration Work, Having an Estimated Value of Less Than $25,000, May Also Be Included as Part of the Work, at Och's Sole Discretion. 2.3 Och is Also Seeking to Establish a Prequalification for the Performance of Restoration Work and Och Will Invite the Selected Offerors From This Rfso to Bid on the Follow-on Restoration Work. 2.4 to Increase the Number of Contractors Available to Perform the Restoration Work, Och Intends to Issue a Separate Prequalification for the Restoration Work. 2.5 Och's Housing Portfolio is Divided Into Two (2) Zones, Consisting of 16 Modules, With a Varying Number of Properties Within Each Module. There Are a Total of 154 Communities. 2.6 to Meet Our Service Requirements, Och Will Assign Four (4) Primary Contractors for a Defined Set of Communities (I.e. A Group of Modules) and Two (2) Additional Contractors as Back-up Providers With the Ability to Service the Entire Portfolio as Defined in Section 8, Evaluation of Offers, Below. 2.7 the Contractor Shall Have the Capacity to Provide Services and Be Able to Mobilize and Supervise Skilled Trades as Required to Mitigate the Effects of Major Incidents. 2.8 Och Responds to Approximately 300-500 Incidents Per Year and Spends About $8m Annually for Emergency Mitigation, Remediation and Recovery/restoration Services. 2.9 Offerors Are Strongly Encouraged to Attend a Non-mandatory Pre-bid Meeting via Zoom Hosted by Och. The Meeting Date and Time is Indicated in Section 6.0 Submission Timelines. The Offeror who has submitted the Selected Offer is required to submit the following documentation in a form satisfactory to OCH within ten (10) working days notice by OCH: a) A current copy of the Offeror's certificate of insurance. The Offeror shall provide and maintain during the term of the Contract commercial general liability insurance acceptable to OCH and subject to limits of not less than $5,000,000 inclusive per occurrence for bodily injury, death and damage to property including loss of use thereof as further described in Schedule J - Sample Contract. OCH must be added as additional insured on the Offerors certificate of insurance. b) A valid copy of the Offeror's WSIB clearance certificate or WSIB issued "status determination" letter. c) One (1) copy of the Contract, originally executed by the Successful Offeror.
