The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion the work described in these Specifications including, but not necessarily limited to, the following: Perform repairs (emergency or otherwise), improvements, service installations, etc. to the Town of Salina Storm Sewer and Drainage System, as directed by the Town of Salina during the term of the Contract. Also included is all restoration work of disturbed area within the work limits, removal of excess materials, and disposal of excess materials. This is a three (3) year term contract, and the OWNER reserves the right to execute up to two (2), one (1) year options to extend the Contract beyond three (3) years. The work site is located at various locations within the Town of Salina. All bids must be made on the official Bid Form or an exact copy by reproduction thereof and enclosed in a sealed envelope. This is a unit price bid as described in the Instructions to Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all provisions of the Federal Government Equal Employment Opportunity clauses issued by the Secretary of Labor on May 21, 1968 and published in the Federal Register (41CFR Part 60-1, 33 F.2 7804). Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and the right to disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or Conditional Bids. Question Deadline 12/06/2024
