This specification covers the furnishing of Fluorosilicic Acid for use in treatment of water for public supplies. Material shall meet the current AWWA Standard B703. The Fluorosilicic Acid (HFS) shall be delivered as needed and ordered to the Cincinnati Water Works treatment plants at the following locations: 1. Greater Cincinnati Water Works 2. Greater Cincinnati Water Works Charles Bolton Plant Richard Miller Treatment Plant 6800 E. River Road 5651 Kellogg Avenue Fairfield, Ohio 45014 Cincinnati, Ohio 45230 Questions or requests for additional information regarding this solicitation shall be directed in writing to the assigned City of Cincinnati Buyer, Melanie Roaden, via email at melanie.roaden@cincinnati-oh.gov. Please submit all questions via email no later than 12:00 PM ET, Noon, on December 12, 2024. The materials/services shall be delivered, as ordered, during the period beginning on the effective start date of the contract, April 1, 2025 and ending twelve (12) months after the effective date of the contract, which is March 31, 2026. At the sole discretion of the City the contract may be renewed for two (2) additional (12) twelvemonth periods ending March 31, 2028. The City reserves the right to waive informalities not inconsistent with law or to reject any or all bids.
