The owner has determined a prequalified list of construction managers. The Village of Estero, FL in good faith invites the submission of qualifications from interested and qualified individuals, corporations, partnerships and other legal entities authorized to do business in the state of Florida to provide professional services to serve as the Estero Sports Park CMAR. The Village of Estero Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Master Plan recommended the creation of an active sports park around Estero High School. Consistent with this recommendation, the Village of Estero has worked to assemble approximately 100 acres of property which includes 46.7 acres of Village owned property and 52.8 acres of School District of Lee County property which has been leased to the Village Location and population: The Village of Estero is located in Lee County, Florida. The Village's population is approximately 38,000 residents. The Village consists of approximately 25 square miles. The conceptual design, as shown in Figure 2, includes a section of three multi-use sports fields on the northern part of the property with shared stadium seating between both fields. West of these show a parking lot neighboring the future development site and an event lawn south of the multi-use fields. To the east there is a pond bordered with two pavilions and a crossing boardwalk. South of this pond lies a JROTC Tower, Shot Put/Pole Vault and a Flex Lawn with the Estero High School football stadium even further South. Centering on the master plan sits a baseball and softball field with baseball/softball stands in-between both and two smaller ponds to the south. The baseball/softball fields both neighbor a driving range with an adjacent "Entertainment Campus" that may require further coordination with the Sports Park in future design discussion. The Firm must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to complete all work to the Village's quality standards. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Woman and Minority-Owned Business Enterprises (W/MBE) companies are encouraged to submit a bid.
