138kv Southwood Valley Substation Arc Blast Firewall The deadline for written questions is 2:00 P.M. C.T. on Thursday, December 19, 2024. In order to ensure a fair and objective evaluation, all questions and inquiries related to this Bid shall be addressed in writing via the Q&A feature available through online. Five (5) percent bid security is required. BID SECURITY Bidders must submit with their bid, a Cashier's Check or a Certified Check in the amount of five (5%) percent of the maximum amount of Bid Price payable without recourse to the City of College Station, Texas, or a Bidder's surety bond in the same amount from a surety company holding permit from the State of Texas to act as a surety, as a guarantee that Bidder will enter into a contract and execute bond and guarantee forms within fifteen (15) days after notice of award of contract. AWARD OF CONTRACT Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities and irregularities not involving price, time or changes in the Work and to negotiate contract terms with the Successful Bidder, and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids. Also, Owner reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Bidder, whether because the Bid is not responsive or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by Owner. Discrepancies in the multiplication of units of Work and unit prices will be resolved in favor of the unit prices. Discrepancies between the indicated sum of any column of figures and the correct sum thereof will be resolved in favor of the correct sum.
