General Building Mechanical System Replacement and Upgrades - Joynes Hall of Bid Copies: 1 Project Location: Joynes Hall Replacement and upgrades of the building's HVAC systems including removal of existing 2 pipe CHW/HW distribution system, fan coils, etc with new 4 pipe hydronic system and fan coils throughout. Bid Security is Required in an Amount Not Less Than 5% of the Base Bid. Performance and Labor & Material Payment Bonds: the Successful Contractor Will Be Required to Provide Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, Each in the Amount of 100% of the Contract Price. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Construction Cost Range: $750,000 to $1,000,000 The original scope for this project called for a new Central Building Automation System (BAS) to monitor and control all HVAC equipment including pumps, hydronic valves, Outside Air Unit (OAU), and Fan Coil Units (FCUs) throughout the building. Due to project cost escalation and limited budget, the BAS has been deleted from the project, and the controls scope is limited to local area Terminal Unit Controllers as follows: 1. Controller to manage Hydronic pumps (see Sheet M201) 2. Controller to manage operation of Outdoor Air Unit, OAU-1 (see Sheet M202) 3. Room thermostats to control operation of each fan coil unit, FCU (see Sheet M202)
