Pre-Qualification: Yes Pre-Bid Meeting Info: None Description: The Project includes the following approximate quantities of Work: 700 linear feet (LF) of storm sewer; stormwater management treatment devices; 4,400 LF of curb and gutter; 25,000 square feet of sidewalk and driveway apron; 12,800 tons (T) of base course; 2,500 T of asphalt pavement; site grading; trail and parking lot lighting; restoration; a kayak launch; an alternative bid for current deflectors; an alternative bid for a restroom/pavilion structure; and related miscellaneous work. The Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to OWNER in an amount of 10% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. The City of Stoughton reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 85 days after the time set for receiving Bids. Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. Prospective Bidders are required to complete and submit a prequalification questionnaire with supporting documents to OWNER (see Instructions to Bidders). Prequalification forms will be provided with Bidding Document sets. Completed forms are to be submitted no later than 4 P.M., local time, on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. Any Contract to be awarded is expected to be funded with assistance from the U.S. Department of the Interior National Park Service Land and Water Conservation Fund and is subject to all applicable State and Federal laws and regulations. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), including Women's and Minority-owned businesses, are encouraged to submit Bids for this Project. All iron and steel products used on the project shall be produced in the United States and comply with the American Iron and Steel requirements. All iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials shall also be produced in the United States and comply with the Build America, Buy America Act requirements.
