This project is no longer moving forward. The City of Colton Public Works and Utilities Department is soliciting bid from qualified contractors for the construction of the 3.0 MG La Loma Reservoir Project. The work shall include mobilization, construction of 3.0 million gallon steel reservoir with associated site grading, excavation, access roads, piping, and reservoir appurtenances per specifications. The City will accept the excess/export excavated materials at Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 1201 S Rancho Avenue, Colton CA 92324. 2. The type, quantity, and whether or not slope stability improvements are required will be determined by the City's Geotechnical Engineer after reservoir excavation and prior to ring wall construction. Cost associated for any Potential slope stability improvements as directed by the Engineer shall be charged to Bid Item No. 21. 3. The attached Geotechnical Design Report shall be part of the bid specifications. 4. An alternative bid item shall include furnishing and erect 3.0 MG welded steel water storage reservoir with an externally supported roof (press brake roof) and appurtenances having an inside diameter of 130', minimum shell height of 36', 3' knuckle, and all related work.
