This project is located at Patton Park in Macomb, Illinois and shall be for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the installation of two new 94' x 50' outdoor basketball courts. This project is being financed in part, with funds from the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, "Open Space Land Acquisition and Development" grant program. All clarifying questions for this bid should be directed to Rachel Lenz, Executive Director, via email at r.lenz@macombparks.com by December 9, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Macomb Park District, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Construction on this project is expected to begin on or around April 7, 2025. The Macomb Park District reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. Bids may be held by the Macomb Park District for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to the awarding of the contract.
