Renovation of a multi-residential development in Mount Union, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
Architectural and engineering services to replace all the soffit and facia on 14 row buildings located at the Chestnut Terrace housing complex in Mount Union, PA . These modifications will be funded under the 2024 Capital Fund Program. The Authority reserves the option to negotiate for additional architectural/engineering services with the successful firm if funds are available following completion of the initial work items. In addition, the Authority may renew annually for up to a total of four additional years. The Authority shall not discriminate against any bidder because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap or national origin. The Authority solicits and encourages Section 3 covered business participation. A Section 3 business is defined as: --A business which is 51 percent or more owned or controlled by low-income persons; or, --A business who has had 75% of their labor hours over the previous 3-month period performed by Section 3 residents; or --A business which is at least 51% owned and controlled by current residents of public housing or Section 8 assisted housing The Authority reserves the right to decide whether a proposal is or is not acceptable in terms of meeting requirements of the RFQ. The Authority reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received in response to this Request for Qualifications. The Authority may negotiate with Proposers regarding the terms of their proposal or parts thereof. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
