Site work for a civil project in Eagle, Nebraska. Design plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
As of May 8, 2025, an engineer has been selected. This project is on hold, therefore a firm timeline for bidding and start of construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The District seeks to design a 10-foot wide, limestone trail within the existing public road right-of-way that connects the Wabash trailhead to the Lied-Platte River Bridge trailhead. The trail will be built on the selected route that uses the existing NRD MoPac corridor east to 334th Street, north to Kleiser Road, west to Allison Road, then continuing easterly on Kimberly Road to the existing trailhead for the Lied-Platte River Bridge. The design of the trail should follow uniform design standards, consider impacts to driveways, maintain adequate drainage of the road right-of-way, and provide a safe corridor for all users. The District anticipates entering into a contract for the project on February 19th , 2025 After review of the qualifications submitted, the District will select firms to interview during week of January 6th, 2025.
