Renovation of a residential development in Rocky Hill, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Rocky Hill Housing Authority Renovations and Modifications To receive consideration bids must be in the hands of the authorized representative, no later than the day and hour mentioned above. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided and in a sealed envelope addressed to Town Manager's Office and plainly marked with the appropriate title "Rocky Hill Housing Authority, Renovations & Modifications All prospective bidders are required to attend. A satisfactory Bid Bond or Certified Check, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid, must be submitted with each bid. The Bid Bond shall be made payable to the Rocky Hill Housing Authority and shall be properly executed by the Bidder. A 100% Performance, Labor and Material Bond is also required. All sureties must be listed on the most recent IRS circular 570. The attention of bidders is directed to the requirements of this contract which include but not limited to require compliance with state and federal labor laws Davis-Bacon wage compliance, State of CT DOL annual wage. update, non-discrimination, equal employment opportunity, WBE/SBE/MBE/DBE outreach and Section 3 compliance. This project is funded through Federal CDBG and State Bond funds as administered by DOH & CHFA respectively. The Town of Rocky Hill and the Rocky Hill Housing Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to waive any informalities, or to accept any bid deemed in the best interests of the Town of Rocky Hill and the Rocky Hill Housing Authority. All bids will be considered valid for a period of sixty (60) days. The successful bidder will be required to execute a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) construction contract, AIA Document A102-2017, with the Rocky Hill Housing Authority
